There are letters from Barrett, Horner, Emmerson, Indiana Governor Harry G. Leslie and H.H. Cleaveland, Director of the Department of Public Works and Buildings for Illinois. A number of letters from Weaver, Sumerlin and Lucas. Ten folders of correspondence and papers regarding activities of the Association kept by vice-chairman Adolph Sumerlin. Numerous letters from citizens giving their personal knowledge of the Lincoln family. Working papers include affidavits from families in Clark, Coles, Crawford and Edgar Counties; reports; maps, blueprints and clippings; and brochures, broadsides and other publicity.
